Trying to be realistic. What do you think of this new list so far?

There are some old favorites on the list. But a lot of the more extravagant names have been taken off. I just started realizing that names like Genevieve, and Gwendolyn... although very pretty, just aren't us. I want a name that is easy to say. I realize a lot of my choices will be unpopular, because they may seem dated (yet not fashionably so like the trend seems to be.) I just want a good solid, not too froo froo, but yeah... a little froo froo I like lacy and feminine. My ideal image is a a rodeo queen. You know, pretty but tough. Girly, but not afraid of the worms when we go fishing, wearing a dress playing in the mud.

Here is what I have so far. This will be changing a lot and probably frequently.

    Cecily
    Celeste
    Chanel
    Corrina
    Nadine
    Noelle
    Suzette
    Josette
    Sadie
    Sierra
    Priya
    Cora
    Evelyn
    Gwen
    Dawn
    Bridget
    Kiera

I love the "dated" names, so I like a ton of these. I think the ones that really carry the image you describe are:

    Celeste
    Sadie
    Sierra
    Cora
    Dawn

The others on your list either feel too frilly for your little rodeo princess, too dusty and vintage, or too exotic. Other names that I think carry the tomboyish-yet-girly feel are:

    Shyla
    Macy
    Nikki
    Kimber
    Jenna
    Molly
    Jill
    Rowan
    Marin
    Skylark

    Good luck!

I like Macy, but my name is Stacy. lol I stuck it above anyway, along with Maisie which may work with Stacy. Thanks.
