    August Storey?

Does August Storey sound nice for a boy? Or does Storey sound too much like a girl's name? I'm still trying to find a more whimsy type name to go with August. Help! I have 6 days til my due date

I think of it as a girl's name, with nn "Tori" (although this doesn't apply to a mn) but it isnt so obviously girly it would be embarassing. I would go with Story instead of Storey to avoid misspellings every single time it is written out. Other whinsical names i can think of:

    Sonnet
    Orion
    Caspian
    Hero
    Forest
    River
    Noble
    Brave

Ottilie usually has some good options, i would hope for her comment!
Right Now I would name them...
    ∆ Ellis Apollo • Vesper Aurelia ∆

    ∆ Casper Aloysius • Reverie Antonia ∆

    Guilty Pleasures ...

    Sailor . Waverly . Ever . Harlow . Elliot . Jasper . Lirit . Muse . Egypt . Ireland . Primrose . Calypso . Rowan

I do think Storey is better for a girl, but it could work as a boy's middle name. The problem I see is that the "st" in August blends into the "st" in Storey.

Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. ~George Eliot

I'm not keen on Storey, but I really like August! I like a previous poster's suggestion of August River. It's a bit hippyish, but I love it!
