I love Atticus! It seems I like hipster names too! If you go really hipster with the first name I would definitely go with something more classic for the middle. I also think Odysseus is kind of awesome too and love the family connection! I wish my husband was as adventurous as yours!
Married for almost 2 wonderful years and dreaming about starting a family in the near future!

    Felix ~ Atticus ~ Hugo ~ Leo ~ Maximus ~ Sebastian ~ Caspian ~ Evander

    Sage ~ Penelope ~ Vittoria ~ Lucilla ~ Liv ~ Hermione ~ Wilhelmina~ Rowena

Ooooh some great names on that list... Thank you! I really like Lucian and also Leo, Rufus, Xavier... I like Orion too but it's already been vetoed by DH as a first name I will take these names back to him... Odysseus has also been dismissed as a FN but not as a middle! DH also said he like Odin... Me too!

    So updated fn list:
    Caspian
    Zephyr
    Odin
    Atticus
    Atlas
    Lucius nn Louie
    Louis/Louie
    Will also add:
    Rufus
    Leo
    Xavier
Lucian (last four need to be ok'd by DH though!)
Frank is gone! I like Francesca too much as a potential sibling!

    Possible middles...
    Odysseus
    Orion
    Beresford (family name)
    Lachlan (family)
    Or any of the above!

I totally agree that most of those names need to paired with something classic! I'm a bit stumped for combos though!

Open to new suggestions and combo suggestions!

You seem to like the 'Lou' sounding beginning... We have friends with Llewellyn (nn Louie) and one we have on our longer list is Luther (nn Lute). I think Luther and Matilda is a fab sibset.

Other random ideas that fit the quirky, but still familiar mould (and may be way off the mark!)

    Fergus
    Oswin
    Severin/Sevrin
    Hugo
    Dougal
    Eamon
    Clyde

Another suggestion is Huon (rhymes with Ewan) - it's the name of a tree that grows in the southernmost states of Australia.
