    Thoughts on...

    Evelyn Octavia.

I had a friend with this name and she always went by Tavie (Tay-vee). I've wanted to hear other peoples opinions about not only her real name, but nickname as well.

I have found it very unique and she's the only Tavie I've ever known.

    Thoughts?

How beautiful! Tavie is sweet, but a bit disappointing next to Octavia. It's like this person I know named Evangeline who goes by Vangie. It's like, really? When you have Octavia or Evangeline at your disposal and you go be a nickname?
    Names I enjoy:

    Girls: Lucy, Elena, Lake, Sylvie

    Boys: Jack, Eamon, Sylvan, Theo

    This made me laugh!

I think Tavie is cute and I know a Tovie. I have to agree with sparrowfinch though that her given names are so beautiful.

I love it - Evelyn Octavia has such poise! As for the nickname, I agree with sparrow - what a letdown!

I love the pairing of the classic, vintage Evelyn with the quirky, antique Octavia. Beautiful combo!
