I've known a female Christian before as well. (As well as dozens of Christina, Kristina, Christiana, Christine, etc.)
Honestly, it's such a religious name that it feel unisex to me. It's like you're making more of a religious point than a gender point.
Of all the names that people have asked "Can I use this for a girl?" this is one of the ones that is the least shocking or weird to me. Sure my first thought if I heard the name would probably be that it belonged to a boy, but I can't imagine commenting on it if it was a girl the way I have for names like Hunter, Griffin, or Micah (all of which I've met on girls)Livy/Lucy : Geneva/Gwen : Coralie/Alice : Noelle/Eve
Eli/Bennett : Jude/Zane: Luke/Leo : Levi/Phineas

I think this is one of the very few names that actually works wonderfully on both genders. Both males and females can be Christians so I think the name works on both genders. That being said I do prefer it for a boy.
