    Thoughts on Booker

Okay I love the name Booker!

I let some negative feedback scare me away from it when I was considering names for my son, but now that I have more name guts, I am really considering this for the future, especially as a middle name option.

What do you think of Booker?

Also, can you think of any nicknames?

I guess when he's little, Boo (makes me think of Boo Radley from To Kill a Mockingbird). Or Bo.

Also, any first name suggestions to go with Booker that work with my son Henry Atlas?

The only one I can come up with that I love is Samson Booker.

    Thanks!

I think Booker's great as a mn! The middle is the best place to get creative, and I think that Booker is very attractive.

    Isaac Booker
    Jackson Booker
Lucas Booker (simply for Lou Boo)
Benjamin Booker (too similar to Benjamin Button?)
Collecting, not expecting! Favorite names change frequently.

Love Booker! I seriously considered it for a long time a couple months ago. I like the association to Booker T. Washington, and as a writer, it was especially meaningful to me. I love its surnamey vibe, too. I think something like Henry Atlas and Isaac Booker would be pretty cool. Or maybe Charles Booker/Charlie Booker? Jack Booker?

    Good luck!

I like Booker as a first or middle. It doesn't strike me as particularly strange, so no need to hide it in the middle, unless you personally aren't comfortable with it at the front.

Nicknames besides Bo...maybe Book, as in Shepherd Book on Firefly?

Samson Booker is darling. Also, how about:

    Nathaniel Booker
    Frederick Booker
    Karl Booker
    Johannes Booker
    Eliot Booker
    Eli Booker
