It reminds me of Martin Freeman a lot. Which is fine, I like him as an actor, but that's really all I can think of. It still feels a bit dated to me, but it is handsome. I like it more as a mn.

My dad is Martin, and we gave it to our son for a middle name. It has a great deal of history and sentiment in our family (one of the first men born in Canada on my dad's side was Martin, and for hundreds of years now there has always been one in the family) I think it'd be cute as a first name!

I prefer Marlon, but I think Martin is sweet and very usable! Plus on HIMYM there is a baby boy Marvin, which is similar, so I think Martin wouldn't be too unfamiliar to people.
    contemplating combos:

Leona Vesper Lynn · Vivian Lillie Revere · Florence Patricia Mae · Zelda Katherine Rose

I like Martin. I think Martin Freeman's rise helps it seem less "old" and Mars definitely gives it some kick.

I don't like the way my California accent doesn't really say the "t." It's like Mar [glottal stop] in. But I did know a sweet dutch boy named Martin and it was very cute on him. His brothers had these really awesome dutch names and he was just Martin.
    Names I enjoy:

    Girls: Lucy, Elena, Lake, Sylvie

    Boys: Jack, Eamon, Sylvan, Theo
