Cailin is nice but it does look like Caitlin on first glance. For that reason I would also avoid Cailyn, Kailin, Kailyn or any variation that looks like Caitlyn/Kaitlin/Kaitlyn etc.

    I would go with Caelin.
    Livia, sixteen.

Yeah, I read Cailin as a mistyped Caitlin on first glance. Emmalyn sounds a bit forced to me, Emma-Lynn could maybe work if you're game for double barrelling. For Cailin, I'd try and make the spelling more distinctive - I like suggestions of Caelin and Caylin - but still retain the sound.

Cailin is definitely better. There are about five million ways to spell the name, so I'm sure you'll find something.

I've always liked the ones that start with 'K' best:
    Kaelyn
    Kailyn
    Kaylin
    Kaylen
    Kaelin

    Caelin is good too.
