I'm trying to come up with nicknames that are a contraction of the first and middle names. I've been able to come up with a few, based on people I've met or from books (predominantly Gone With the Wind) but not many. They tend to have a Southern/country feel, but that's what I'm going for.
The ones I've got are:
Careen- Caren Irene
Suellen- Susan Elinor
Mayella- May Ella/Elinor/any other Ell-name
Elianne- Elinor/any other Ell-name Anne
Lilybelle- Lillian Isabella (a cousin of mine)
What I'm not looking for are:
*Double names like Debra Anne, Molly Sue, Mary Jane, Mary Beth etc.
*Names like Rosemary or Annabelle which are names in their own right
