    Corilla

Someone who knows I love names told me that he found the name Corilla in his family tree and I think it's quite pretty. Has anyone ever heard of it? Anyone know its history or anything about it?

I have never heard of it, though I have heard of the similar Marilla, Barilla, and Cilla. Corilla, unfortunately, is awfully similar to "gorilla," something you may want to keep in mind.

alzora, I noticed the "gorilla" thing myself too. I'm not planning on using this though, of course (way too young to have kids). Thanks for replying!

I love some -illa names like Willa and Camilla, and I love Cora, Coralie, and Cordelia, but I agree the Corilla-Gorilla thing makes Corilla unusable. It is intriguing, though.

Corilla has a nice sound, but all I see is Gorilla, unfortunately. I love Marilla though.
