Oh yes, Rainier Orpheus Marinell is great!!
I also really really love Gawain Perseus Bayard.
Evander Lorengel Altair is definitely more towards the soft end of the name spectrum so I don't know if that's exactly what you're both looking for... Altair, Lorengel, and Marinell are my favorites of the middle name choices, so I tend to just use as many of them at a time as possible, haha. Evander Endymion Altair maybe?

To me, Evander Endymion Altair perfectly conveys the image you were describing for Evander. Even though Altair means falcon, it seems so soft and poetic to me. I also think that Adair would fit really well here. I love the idea of Evander Endymion Ivo, but I think the flow is better with Altair or Adair where the stress is on the second syllable.
Gawain Perseus Bayard is incredible, although I also quite like Gawain Perseus Marinell.
I like the Herne combo you have, but I also wanted to throw out Herne Wayland Bayard, in case Bayard doesn't get used in the Gawain combo.
I'm really enjoying Rainer Orpheus Altair and Rainer Orpheus Westfall. These seem a bit more woodsy to me than Rainer Orpheus Marinell (although it is awesome).
