    Non-fluffy girl names

Hey all! DH and I are TTC bambino #2 and are doing a bit of dreaming, name wise. If we have a little girl, we tend to like names that are fairly classic...something possibly with a cute nn, but that you could also see calling a grown woman. Also, I want to avoid anything too frilly or fluffy. Here's our list so far:

    Alice
    Pearl*
    Lydia
    Laurel (or Lauren*)
    Amelia
    Rosemarie
    Eleanor
    Clara
    Felicity
    Mae*
    Ingrid
    Violet

What do you think? I starred names that we seem to like more as middle names, so feel free to match some up!

Of your list, I'd like to see Laurel or Felicity used most. A lot of the others have been mentioned or used so frequently on here that they really just blur together in to a ball of vintage/classic. It's like a room covered in floral print and vintage everything.

Felicity Lauren would be extremely lovely imo! It would also help to know what your first little one is named.

    Very pretty!

    My favourites:
    Alice
    Lauren
    Amelia
    Eleanor
    Ingrid
    Felicity

    Combos:
    Ingrid Laurel
    Clara Eleanor
    Ingrid Mae (I like this)
    Alice Pearl
    Felicity Pearl
    Clara Violet
    Lydia Mae
    Lydia Pearl

east93: agreed! Felicity Lauren would be perfect!

I'd choose Clara Pearl or Clara Mae. My next favorites are Violet Mae, Lydia Mae, and Ingrid Pearl.
Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane. All middle names honor family, with Jane used three generations in a row. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve.
