I really like Ace of the suggestions that others have given. Jett and Dash (great names!) both have such a fast/speedy energy - Beau is a great name, but seems kind of slow in comparison. Chase is good, but might be a little too obvious. I like Ace because it connects to Jett and has that energy, but without being too literal.

No way, because it brings up race, as in races of people, not just foot races. Ray itself would be cool-- you get the natural imagery of rays of light, too.
