I didn't know that. It fit him.

I don't have any children, but I write like crazy and am always looking for names for characters. I think I'm a half decent story teller, a mediocre writer, but horrible at picking names.

Cassidy is actually really quite plausible, very good.

The wonderful thing about very popular names-- like Kimberley, Jennifer and Rebecca-- is that they were used by everyone, from many slices of the socioeconomic spectrum. I like Jen but wonder about Owen & Jen sharing an ending sound-- Jenny would be better, but not many women my age go by Jenny (nor Kimmy). Becca is great-- Becca Trask has the same great consonance as Cassidy [repeats the hard K sound] but also ends in a vowel that elides straight into Trask. I really like Owen & Becca Trask, with daughter Cassidy.

blade to the rescue again. LOL Thank you. You are so logical when it comes to names. I wonder if there is one of those "for dummies' book for names. If there is I really need to make a purchase. ;O

So, we have a family (*here is me jumping up and down*)....Owen and Rebecca (nn. Becca) and their beautiful daughter, Cassidy.
