My dad wanted Jasmine (pronounced in Hebrew -Yasmin- just like a brand of the pill, so thankfully mom vetoed it) or Smadar (a super trendy name here in 1979 (which luckily my mom vetoed.)
My mom debated between Karine, Corrinne and Keren.
I ended up with Keren which is an okay name but it is a very very common name here for little girls born in 1979 but can't complain really

If I was a boy, I would have been Sean, Patrick, or Michael (my younger brother ended up being Patrick Michael). My mom wanted to name me Bonnie Bea (after my great-grandmother Bonnie and grandmother Beatrice), but my dad nixed that. He wanted to name me Tiffany. Mom didn't like that. She had always loved the name Sabrina after seeing the old Audrey Hepburn movie. It took some convincing, but my dad finally agreed to Sabrina Rae. And I love my name!Mom to Alexander Patrick (11), Madelyn Esther (8), Genevieve Susan (3), and Theodore James (stillborn at 37 weeks on February 3, 2014). Expecting #5 (a girl!) in May 2015.
Boys: Everett, Sebastian, Augustus, Samuel, Abraham, Elias, Julian, Silas, Nicholas, Desmond, Jasper, Ezekiel
Girls: Bridget, Felicity, Elizabeth, Penelope, Leona, Ophelia, Elodie, Elysia, Callista, Miriam, Isabelle, Delilah
