Complete List-Whadaya Think?
My entire, painfully long list of names for our little man. Comments? Suggestions? I need you to rip 'em to shreds.
Bruce (family name, maybe mn?)
Harlow (believe it or not, this, Hamlet, and Hotaru are family on DH's side and male too)
Time for the ones that are VERY obviously guilty pleasures :P
Equinox (could it actually work, nn Nox?)
Now, due to these pregnancy hormones I probably included in my actual list names that would label me unfit to be a parent but don't hold it against me. Enjoy!

I think a lot of these names are "unusable," as in I think they've either "gone to the girls," have too much weight or expectation to them, are too tied to a historical, mythological, or famous person, or would be confusing/problematic as first names.
I absolutely love these:
Auden, Brooks, August, Emerson
These I like and think are very wearable:
Dorian David Edison Edmund Edward Elijah Ian Barrett Bay Booker Logan Phoenix
These MIGHT be usable, or are fine to use but not my taste:
Dune Ace (fine as a nn) Beckham (I do really like this name, it's just that David is so famous!) Caspian Chance Ibis Arrow Morgan Moses Percival Hotaru
These I think are used to frequently on girls:
Madison Lex (but Alexander or Alexios nn Lex is great, just not Lex on its own) Haven Harlow Hadley Briar Addison Ainsley Avery Ember Winter Indiana Story Paris Rain
These are too word-y for my taste:
Balsam (Maybe Oak or Oakley?) December Independence Indigo (Do you like Indio? For some reason that seems more wearable to me) Ocean Peregrine
These are too place-namey and I think they'd be impractical:
Baltimore Britain Egypt Ireland England Amsterdam
These I think are too tied to a single person (or myth, fictional character, etc.:
Jupiter Picasso Remus Thor Lazarus Hamlet Perseus Balthazar Aries (Have you considered Orion?)
I think these are a bit dated:
Ambrose Anatole Bruce Chester Clyde
I hope you don't think I'm being too harsh, it's just a VERY long list and I wanted to quickly narrow it down. For me, Auden and Brooks are standouts here- fantastic, shockingly underused names.

Top 10 boy's names: Elliott * Callum * Theodore * Emmett * Nolan * Ian * Blake * Brennan * Adrian * Everett

Lots of names you like are the same as the ones we are considering for a boy (we are in Australia and due in August)
The ones I am thinking of using are:
Ambrose - i love this, so underused (which is what we like )
Arrow - my husband makes bows so probably a bit much but maybe as a mn
Avery - not actually liking this one but we love Fern for a girland Avery is Fern's sister in Charlotte's Web
Bay - love but would probably only use as a mn
Caspian - love this but doesn't really go with our last name
Peregrine - this is our front runner at the moment
Rain - on our list but for a girl as Raine
Others we like are:
We already have Oscar, Marco, Orrin and Felix in the family but I like those tooLong time name lover...
DD - Iris Ophelia (2011)
D? - due August... Peregrine Lyons or Aurelia ?????
