Actually, I don't know. Recently there was a thread about hippie names. Are Bohemian names and hippie names different? How would one define a Bohemian name or differentiate it from a hippy name? For whatever reason I can picture Bohemian fashion but not a Bohemian name. "Zion" for a boy comes to mind for me and Dharma and Uma for girls but I dont think those can count for girls b/c I obviously only came up with them b/c of the tv show and actress.

You have to look at the movements/lifestyles first. They have a lot in common (free love, drugs/alcohol, living on the edge) but are yet very different. Hippies are the 60's, nature and inspired by the east, particularly India, spiritual and freedom. Bohemian is artsy, literature, culture, vagabonds. Hemp versus velvet. Nature versus culture.
So hippie names are often nature or Indian inspired. Bohemian names are often history and literature based. My darling Marian Illyria Aphrodite, March 2013 & Little Bunny (a girl!) due 9th of February 2014

Thanks, ottilie I couldn't have explained it better myself. The hippie post is mine too. I'm trying to decide which I like more, I'm leaning towards bohemian as it fits me better.Kylee
