I had actually had Ellis on my list the last time before we knew Jack was a boy, but then I thought she might spend her life saying, "ELLIS not ALICE" lol!! I appreciate these suggestions. I know kids with some of these names already, but Ellison and Regan are good additions to the list for sure...

I LOVE Maeve Clementine and Oliver James (but I was thinking OJ are still pretty notorious initials, lol!)
As an aside, I would also like if the girl mn has a French pronounciation option like Quinn's mn (Madeleine) which Clementine has. Acutally, I am not even sure if Maeve is at all a known name in the French-speaking world, I am pretty sure not, but that ship already sailed with Quinn which most French speakers pronounce as "Queen"...so mns is where the nod to the French heritage comes in...except for Jack's mn... I see Hugo in your signature, Isabellemarie, I LOVE that name! I have a French cousin named Hugo...

I don't think Maeve is too girly but I second the suggestions of Morgan and Darcy for a girl. Similar ideas might be Avery, Hazel, Emery, Reece, Flannery, Sienna, Alba/Albany, Holland, Rory, Devon.

I don't think you have to stick with the syllable trend you have followed thus far. If it works out then fine but it is more important to have a name you love.
