Name Help For A Little Boy

    Hi Berries,

I’ve been dithering over potential names for one of my characters all day and I’m in need of help. I had another post but as I’ve narrowed it down, I’m just going to ask for you to please to vote for whichever name you think suits this one best!

Set in the 1940s. He’s a little English boy, around 5 years old, adventurous, adorable and well behaved, but shy. In the story his best friend is called Poppy.

If it helps, this is what I imagine him to look like:

So is he a Tom, Charlie, Freddie, Robbie, Jasper, Billy, Sam or Alf?

    Thank you!

Mowesi ~ Henwyn Kernewek ~ Mebyon

Oh, that adorable little boy is definitely a Robbie. I can see that very easily. If not a Robbie, an Alfie or Archie.

    Totally agree on Robbie.

I don't have any children, but I write like crazy and am always looking for names for characters. I think I'm a half decent story teller, a mediocre writer, but horrible at picking names.

Favorites: Ainsley, Everly, Shay, Bryce, Michaela, Bree, Susannah, Jensen, Damien, Anson, James, Dalton, Sawyer, Alaric

I can totally see Charles nn Charlie. It sounds good on him, and maybe the friend's name can be Patricia, or something along the lines. Also, if this is set in the 40's, I'd suggest appropriate names like Elizabeth nn Lizzie/Beth for the friend, if the friend is a girl.
