    What's Wrong with Paisley?

I'm not going to throw a fit or anything, haha. I just want to see what people think of the name. I've seen it thrown out there like its trendy or kind of trashy and I don't understand why. I know some people say "ley" ending names are trendy, but this isn't one of those made up, smooshed together names. It's a legitimate word name. Not even an over the top one. Can anyone explain this to me?

It's a place. I can't see it as a name. That's my issue with it.

It's a place as Ren said, a pattern I do not find attractive at all and it sounds whiny and annoying. Those are my issues with it.

The first time I saw it used as a name instead of a pattern was on a dog. The second was on Toddlers and Tiaras. By then my impression of it had suffered a bit.

I think Toddlers & Tiaras ruined it & the-Lee ending is one that people find childish & trendy right now.
