The amazing, naming surpise I found!
I met these two girls a little while ago and I was wondering what you thought of there names. They told everyone they were called Maizie and Georgie and I thought that they seemed like two quite sweet and well-matched names. I didn't give much thought to the names and thought their full names were Georgia and Melissa or something. I thought that was that. Then one day, I saw them signing a form and they had put their full names. You'll never guess what they were!
Amazing and Gorgeous!
I thought that this was so cool and very interesting! I loved it instantly and the nicknames seemed great to me! But then I wondered if you thought this is a bit tacky? I find Gorgeous has a very lush sound and Amazing has a great nickname, but does it sound a bit forced or pretentious? Is it a bit tacky? Do you like them?
What do you think?

Whoa! Ummmmm......Amazing has a nice sound, but not Gorgeous....the nicknames are cute, though. But they are big time "expectation" names, ESPECIALLY Gorgeous. Would never, ever, use either.~Izzy, looking for a new nickname

For children, it's sweet to know that mommy & daddy love their kids so much and believe to truely be amazing and gorgeous. However, it would be very odd as a professional adult to have these names on a passport or job resume unless you live in an area where everyone has names this interesting and never plan to leave,Mommy to John Alexander & 3 furbabies; Maggie the dog, Rex & Bella the wannabe lions

Amazing and Gorgeous...DO sound like tacky names.
Not too mention, they might have a hard time when they grow up and go on interviews...or have to apply for driver's licenses. I can see people thinking they put "Gorgeous" or "Amazing" as a joke.
