Popular Name List From Other Countries
I know that we have the top 1000 names in the US, but for me it's fairly easy to find that list anywhere else. However, it's a pain for me to try and find even the top 100 in a list for another country like England/Wales and Ireland (I know they are all UK but there's different naming stats). So, I was wondering if Pam and Linda could possibly add a top 100 under the Popular Names tab for another country that there are several berries from, like Australia or the UK.
If we can't, then does anyone know of good sites for stats for other countries?

I hear you! This is a feature that I would love to add too -- unfortunately, it's a lot more complicated than Linda and I posting the non-US popularity lists as well as our own internal one; our engineer Hugh needs to build the feature. But I hope it will rise to the top of the list soon. Meanwhile, I recommend the popular names feature at Behind the Name: http://www.behindthename.com/top/Pam Satran

behindthename is good, but if you want more up-to-date data in the meantime- I always get English name statistics from here: http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/search/ind...ery=baby+names
You have to dowload the spreadsheets though :s That's England & Wales combined, but it's quite good at showing each country's different stats and splitting it up into month-by-month popularites etc. Ireland's a different country, not sure on N. Ireland but Scotland's is here: http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/stati...ed-tables.html
Another download I'm afraid, which is why this idea is briliant! Would save so much trawling and downloading!
