    My grandma is Arlene, named after her brother Arlen. I'm not crazy about Arlene but I love Arlene.
    Other gens are: Abel, Obel, Burly, W.C. (all my maternal grandmother's brothers) and then Olive and Cuba (my paternal great grandmother's sisters).

    Kathleen, Viola, Carolina ("Carrie"), and Hilda Caroline are names in my family that are intriguing to me. Can't/wouldn't use them for various reasons.

    I also had a female ancestor named Fidelis ("Fuh DAY lus"), of German descent. Weird.
