    I love Beatrix,
I pronounce it BE-A-TRIX but SO pronounces it BEET-RIX,
What's the correct way? Please say mine because I love it for our middle spot when we eventually ttc

I'm definitely a BEE-uh-trix girl, but my boyfriend and his family all pronounce it BEE-trix. There's a Beatrix at the nursing home I visit who is BEE-trix, too.

I think BEE-uh-trix is the correct (best!) way, but BEE-trix is not uncommon, especially with some accents and dialects. It was enough to make me take it off my list.

Welsh names like Luned, Eluned, Taliesin and Eira. Lucked out that the Finnish prn of Eira is how I thought it should be air-ah instead of eye-rah or ay-rah depending on where in Wales you're from.
Mum to Mousie, Foo, Bumptious and Pudding.
