I personally don't feel like it would be a big deal but some people feel strongly about it.
I think it's more people in the medical field who are more accustomed to seeing it as an acronym.
I'd just give him a cool middle so the focus of any "initial" discussion is positive.

My best friend Brooklyn grew up with those initials. I only ever remember people laughing once and it was an adult. The kids didn't get it. By the time kids are old enough to know what a BM stands for they're too old to really laugh at the initials... If I really loved a B name I honestly wouldn't let it stop me.Mrs. H.
