I think Edmund and Felix are both awesome. I love Edmund a lot actually.
I like Robert and Thomas ok. You really can't go wrong, but I think they're very safe too.
I dislike Maxwell (boring--bleh), Layton (I think of lipton tea), and Nathan (super boring)

I know a ten year old Layton and she's a girl.
What about the German spelling of Thomas -- Tomas, pronounced Toe-mahs? This makes it less boring.
    My favorite is Edmund.

What about -- Easton, Rupert, Theodore, Raymond, Patrick, Hugh, Ralph pronounced Rafe, Simon ??

I love Edmund!! It makes me think of a character Colin Firth would play. It's just so classy and timeless. Also, I think Robert would be a nice way to honor your dad and grandad. However, Edmund is slightly more appealing to me...
    Good luck,

Hah, I knew Layton was bad! Good to have support there.

@geauxtee - those others are good. I especially like Theodore and Hugh, though they've already been nixed. Sad.
