I am having a girl and love boyish names as well. I am all for them... my daughter is Dakota and we were considering all kinds of tomboyish names for this girl. Ultimately we decided on Taylor... not b/c it is trendy but b/c it is my brother's middle name who is severly handicapped and in bad health right now on his deathbed. And it goes well with our other daughter's also semi-unisex name.

But if this had been a boy, we were going to use Sawyer. I definitely think of Sawyer as a boy name.

Some other names I love though (since we have similar taste) are:

    Emerson nn Emery
    Waverly
    Teegan
    Esme
    Bronwen
    Channing
    Finley
    Perri
    Piper
    Hadley
    Preslee
    Shae
    Sage
    Reese
    Quinn
    Peyton
    Annika
    Scout
    Maren

I love Juniper and think the nn June is adorable!

Also, my son's name is Oakley and it recently seems to be becoming a very popular name for girls now where I live. I obviously first thought of it as a boy's name, but now that I've been several little girls with the name, I might have considered it if we'd never had our boy.

Hope you find the right name!

    absolutely Ruby!

Ruby by a LONG shot. It's quirky, sweet and the nickname Rue is really great.

Sawyer and Miller are both so incredibly masculine, trendy and will be SO dated in a couple years. Just not attractive.
