Talking would you use doyle as a first name?

The middle name will be Rhys (said reece). I love the name Doyle but wonder if it's too esoteric.
    Thanks!

I knew a Doyle 30-something. I thought it was strange, the name didn't give off a positive vibe to me.

Not with the middle name Rhys. Doyle Rhys sounds a lot like "doilies" to my ear.

Ditto on the doilies, and I don't care for two monosyllabic names next to each other. How about:

    Dougal
    Donnagh
    Donato
    Dorian
    Douglas
    Dolan
    Donnan
    Donnell

    instead?
    Blade, MD

Not sure how Doyle Rhys makes you think of doilies, lol.

It's not my cup of tea, but there is nothing wrong with it.
