Yay for narrowing down! And still so many of those lush names I love. The only one on your newest list I'm not crazy about is Niniane. My order from favorite choice down:
Illyria – I waffle back and forth as to whether or not this is my favorite on your list. Today, it is. There’s a part of my brain that worries someone will think it sounds like a disease, and then I think “F that person!” So…that’s where I am with Illyria
Rosamund – Still love Rose names.
Thalia – Thayl-ee-uh makes me happy. Such a lovely choice.
Fiammetta – I think this is the coolest name you’ve been considering. Reading comments, it seems you’ve got some converts for this one, too!
Melisande – If this is pronounced with a French accent, I kind of squeal in delight.
Apolline – Beautiful name. It makes me think of a very sweet little girl.
Circe – Any negative connotations aside, this is a cool name and a strong one too.
Beatrice – I love it, but I think it doesn’t quite compare to your other choices. (Probably my favorite Shakespeare heroine though!)
Niniane - I trip over the pronunciation of this name. That's my hang up here.
I feel like the first three would make a lovely set of sisters and the second three would make a lovely set of sisters. Any of these would work well together, but I love those two sets.Current loves: Theodore & Rosalind

Don't fret Otter! You have so many beautiful names. It's overwhelming. Here, take my handkerchief. And while you're at it, take one of my girls' names: Solace. I just found it - an old Puritan name, but sweet not scolding like Chastity or Silence. Might appeal to you given your state of mind and your love for Constance and Solenne.

My favourites from your new list are Illyria (LOVE) and Melisande.
Some days I love Thalia, some days I really dislike it. Beatrice is lovely, but not terribly interesting. Apolline is pretty - I'm not familiar with it, so I need to think about that one more. Rosamund is a very strong name, but not traditionally attractive. It has ups and downs.
I dislike:
Circe - I thought of every pronunciation for this one except what it actually is - seer-sa, sur-ka, seer-see, sur-kee. Too confusing.
Fiametta - it's frilly but not flowing
Niniane - confused me a bit. Ninny-a-knee? Ni-knee-a-knee? Knee-knee-a-nuh?

phloxie: I do like Vasilisa, it's very pretty.
Sunshine: Alethea is pretty, it's just very very old lady who lives with 30 orange cats to me.
rintin: I'd love to have the name of muse too... and Yvaine is from Stardust yes.
klcalder2: Melisande would be the french way, yes. Love that name. Thanks for your comments, they make me feel better.
jennamelissa: Amoret is pronounced straight forward, with the -t at the end. Unless you're a frenchie, but I'm not.
Emma, thank you. Solace is very beautiful. Will put it on my list. I'm still going crazy though.
Evatallulah: thanks, I'd forgotten about a few of those names...
...a nd Miraje thank you. I love Thalia all the time. And Illyria too!One little Babaroo, March 2013
