a middle name for Opal...
Hello,
I've recently found out that I'm pregnant with our second child. We won't be finding out the sex of the baby, but I've been thinking a LOT about Opal if baby turns out to be a girl.
I don't want to share my daughters name here, but I will tell you she has a very rare French first name (with greek roots) and a nature middle name.
I thought it would be nice to give Opal (nature name) a bit of a longer, frilly Greek or French middle to tie in with my first daughter.
Here's my initial thoughts... I'd love your suggestions.
Opal Hermione (really love this but does it just scream Harry Potter?)
Opal Marguerite ( too gemstone heavy with the Pearl reference?)
Opal Delphine / Delphinia
Opal Athena
Opal Mathilde
Opal Artemis
Thanks!

Congratulations, Wattle!
My recommendation is ...
@polline
[and]
Eul@lie
... a sibset comprised of equivalent ancient-vintage French names of Greek origin.

My favourite of yours is Opal Marguerite but I admit I think of daisies before pearls with Marguerite.
Other options:
Opal Zephirine (or Zephyrine, but the two-i spelling is used for a variety of rose I like that was created in 1868, and also I am a bit y-phobic) - works well for an uncommon French name with Greek roots. Also I just love it.
Opal Beatrix
Opal Anaïs
Opal Alexandrine
Opal Margaux - an exception to my usual feelings on place names. Margaux strikes me as a bit sassier than Margot. My understanding is it also has a pretty good history of use as a name, unlike what the Nameberry blurb implies.
Opal Emmanuelle
Opal Amarante or Opal Amarantha.
Opal Laetitia
Opal Noémie
Opal Félicie
