@khaatje and ktook: I know I'm a bit late but I am so glad things are all well with your growing little ones!
@casilda: sorry about AF coming such a bummer but it's great that your doctor is being so helpful and conscious of the monetary realities that come with figuring everything out health wise...good luck with your tests.
@alzora: I'm so glad you and your husband can continue on with ttc without a big long break in the middle of everything...still hoping this cycle is your time
@blueeyes26: Welcome! I'm currently taking anti-depressant medications for my panic disorder and have chosen after speaking in depth with my psychiatrist and obgyn to stay on my Zoloft throughout my ttc and pregnancy journey. It was not an easy decision and I had to choose which of my medications if any I wanted to stay on but I feel I have made the best decision for my future child. You need a partner who is able to fully be there for you during this process and who is able to handle the increased stresses that life with a baby will throw at you. I'm glad your husband has decided at least for now to go back on his medications. Wishing you both the best in your ttc journey!
@maggiefromcanada: I use the WomanLog app to track my cycles and so far it has been spot on as dh and I have been using natural family planning for over a year to not get pregnant. This month is the first cycle that we will be actively trying so I am curious to see if my app is as helpful in this endeavor...really hoping it is!
@carlasworld: Welcome and sending you good thoughts on your ttc!
@casilayne: Good luck with Clomid hopefully it gets you that BFP! My Daddy would laugh so hard and at me and try to joke with me while shooting me up I am sure...I would likely have to hit him I hope your left ovary is the lucky one and it will send you lovely babies very very soon! Good luck with your appointments I know it's a pain to commute so far but at least they seem to be giving you a lot of helpful information to make your ttc go more smoothly!
@nowakasia: I'm sorry you didn't ovulate Hopefully this next cycle will be more successful and everything will work out beautifully...sending you good thoughts!
@bettydogooder: Welcome back and good luck this coming cycle!23 year old name lover with a passion for art history married for three years to my much better half

@saristin thank you so much!! I'm already dreaming of the possibilities. The doctor was fairly confident that I could get pregnant even on the first round! Obviously there is never a guarantee, but it's really nice to have on of the best in Texas only a few hours from home. The commute gets old, but I'm trying to be positive about it. I'm dropping in to see as many friends and family as possible while I'm in Dallas. That helps it quite a bitmamacravings.com

I'm a NewBerry, and this seems as fitting an entry into the forums as any other topic... so hello, EveryBerry!!!
I just turned 29, I live in New York, and am happily married to a goofball of a husband, my best friend. He has a long commute to work (~2.5 hours each way!) so we don't have a lot of time together, but we're hoping to move soon and change that. I'm a former teacher and while I'm no longer in the classroom, I volunteer and work with children for a local non-profit. If my health were better, I would be back in the classroom quicker than the blink of an eye.
Oh yes, my health. Long story short (trust me, it's a REALLY long story...), I have Stage IV Endometriosis. More specifically, I have an adhesive disorder caused by severe Endometriosis. My surgery was only diagnostic (rather than corrective) because unlike most "Endo" patients I have minimal endometriomas (basically, a fancy word for cysts), and instead have extensive and dense scar tissue (adhesions) that tie everything together in my pelvic region. This has led to a chronic pain condition-- I'm in excruciating pain every minute of every day. Unfortunately, this has meant that I can no longer teach, but I try to keep busy and I do what I can when I can.
Because of my condition, Hubby and I are TTC-- we are still young, but time is not on our side if we want to have a family. Which is what brings me to this particular forum/thread.
We've currently been actively trying for over two years now. In that time, I have only gotten pregnant once. It was almost 2 months ago, and unfortunately I miscarried (chemical pregnancy) shortly after my symptoms were confirmed with a home-test.
We are currently seeing a fertility specialist and saving up money so Hubby can have his fertility tested. In the meantime we are still trying, and will be over the moon if something happens.
I've read through several pages of this topic, and love how supportive everyone is on here!!! If anyone has any questions about Endometriosis, I'm more than willing to share my knowledge and experience.
Aside from that, though, I hope that there are a lot of celebratory announcements in 2013, and I look forward to hearing all about them <3

Hi knitwit, I'm sorry to read about your difficult journey TTC and your health issues. That must be so frustrating for you (among other adjectives!). I hope you have luck conceiving soon.
Alzora - lol @ the boob squeezing! I totally made my nipples sore doing that. And it was actually my husband who pointed it out to me, that I'd "checked" so many times I was creating the sore nipples in the first place! I so hope this is the month for you guys.Mother to miss Mila Arden. Expecting her brother Cato Bennett in March 2014

Welcome Knitwit and thanks for sharing your story. I am so sorry for your loss. That must have been so heartbreaking after trying for so long. I really hope it wont be too long before you get pregnant again. I have heard that women become more fertile then usual in the 3-4 months following a miscarriage. I miscarried at about 5 weeks in March, so also quite early on. It is heartbreaking after all the excitement of a BFP. We decided to take a few months off Ttc though and are just starting now.
So AF came today. Pretty much expected as we didn't get to do the deed in my fertile window. In a way I am quite excited as this starts the first day of ttc. I worked out that if I did conceive on this cycle my EDD would be the day of or the day after my stepsons birthday. I'm a bit concerned about how he would feel about that (though I dont think I'll be discussing this with him) and was almost thinking of putting off ttc for another month. But DH has convinced me that it was silly and chances are unlikely that a baby would come on their Edd anyway. Also my stepson may actually like the idea. Haha, can you tell I'm an overthinker.Mumma of 3 Angel babies, Lani (my heavenly flower), Charlie (my free little one) and Brennan (my brave teardrop) xxx
