Welcome Milasmama! I think Mila Arden is a very sweet name.
@grecianern - I know nothing we say will help with your anxiety right now, but I do think it's a good sign that you have all these pregnancy symptoms. Your levels are right on the middle which is good! Keeping my fingers crossed for doubling numbers...
@sarah - from what I gather, many women don't see a positive until post their AF due date. But if not, good luck next month!TTC #1

hello everyone - i've been following this thread but haven't spoken up for awhile. thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences and being so generous with their feedback and support of each other.
sarah: i'm in a very similar boat. 2nd cycle TTC, AF due tomorrow, caved in and took a test this morning and a very clear negative (no confusion here haha). it has bummed me out more than i thought it would. i've had really sore nipples for the last 10 days (i usually get sore breasts from PMS, but never that early in my cycle and never so annoyingly and painfully concentrated in the nipple area! ouch) so i have to admit i got my hopes up a bit. no unusual symptoms other than that, and a little lightheadedness (which could have very well been psychosomatic). i guess i'm mostly bummed out because i was hoping that my very irregular cycle last year had sorted itself out, and that i was ovulating normally. the truth is i really don't have a clear idea of when i ovulate, or if i ovulate?! (there's the pessimist in me piping up again). if i'm out for this round i think i had better get myself sorted out and get on top of my ovulation. on that note: i know there's been a lot of talk about tracking ovulation - would love to be reminded which methods you guys like best? wondfo strips, digital ovulation kits?
thanks for reading and, as always, thanks for sharing,

Hey I just wanted to pop in and say
Congratulations Grecianurn! Wishing you a beautiful healthy baby.
Good luck to everyone else :-)
I'm not yet ttc, but taking all kinds of vitamin concoctions, eating well and exercising, tracking my temperatures in preparation for ttc sometime in the not too distant future. Charting is so interesting! I'm reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility, and learning lots of stuff my mama never taught me.

@Sarah and all of you, am I seriously the only one on this board who gets PMS cramps like 3-5 days before AF shows up? It's such a bummer! My two-week wait is always interrupted way early with dull but abundantly clear abdominal/cervical/vaginal cramps. I guess that's kind of a good thing, because I get an early answer, but I feel like everyone else gets to hang onto hope for much longer because no one else seems to have this PMS problem. If I were in your shoes, Sarah, there would be no question at this point whether my period was coming or not, even if it hadn't yet shown up. The fact that you aren't feeling anything makes me hopeful for you still...but your negative test sounds pretty disappointing. If AF does show up, remember that that is Day 1 of your next cycle and thus could be Day 1 of a pregnancy.
@Grecianern, from what you're saying, everything seems to be going just fine! I totally understand your anxiety, but I hope that in the coming days those feelings give way to uninhibited excitement. As of this moment, all you know is that you are pregnant and everything sounds normal, so I am hoping for and expecting the best for you.
Shout-out to Budapest! Hope your trip is going great, @Andrea! But isn't this trip supposed to distract you from all things baby? What are you doing on Nameberry?!
@Loveday, I waited way too long to order the Wondfo tests even though everyone on this thread kept suggesting them. I guess I just didn't feel like actually finding and ordering them online, and I secretly kept hoping that I would just get pregnant and would end up not needing to use them by the time they got here. But I'm so glad I finally ordered them, because they confirmed that I am ovulating, and they made the TTC process MUCH easier for me and my husband. Before using them, he and I would have about a week and a half of questionable days because we weren't sure which days we should try and which days we could take a break. It gets overwhelming and exhausting. It sounds like the tests would be useful for you if only to confirm that you are ovulating. I recommend just going ahead and ordering them. They're really inexpensive. Wishing you luck!
@Emma, that book is another thing I'm taking way too long to order. One of these months I will cave and get it.
