Nooo, not TIB, anyone but TIB! Sorry you are getting the run around so bad. I HATE the runaround. I would start with calling the OBGYN who ordered the test. He/she knows what is required for the test, and it doesn't seem like they would have written you the prescription knowing no one could perform the test. Since that doctor is the one who is working around your insurance for you, maybe they can advise you on what to try next. If you do have to speak to TIB, try giving her the billing code that the other doctor used. Or you can call your insurance company again. If they pre-approve a test, it shouldn't matter what the billing code is. So yeah, if it were me, I would start with your OBGYN, then if that didn't work out, your insurance company, then TIB as a last resort. I don't know your exact relationship with any of these, so feel free to ignore my advice. That would just be my plan of attack. And yes, it is an attack. Get yourself a Rambo head band and a few nerf weapons you can shoot at the phone while you're on hold ;-) Good luck!Wife to Jordan.

Oh no Alzora! That is terrible. I hope that a solution can be found. xo

Alzora, don't despair my dear. I would first call your insurance and ask them if they can conference call with TIB or speak with her directly. I've had several conference calls with hospital billers/ins, my ins/HR reps, etc. Usually when Lackey A says they've done everything, I ask to speak with their manager. That's when I get results. I think you never did call TIB's office manager, right? You can be very very polite about it while never actually having to speaking to her directly. I've had medical issues all my life as well as crappy crappy insurances giving me the run around since college. It doesn't help that I work in healthcare so I actually know when people are being extra dumb or unhelpful. You have to stick up for yourself and never accept defeat. You can do it! I know you can, but you absolutely have to be your own best advocate.
I liked the idea of a before-baby bucket list so here's mine with some of hubby's too:
- Become board certified (5% of my profession is board certified, which is different than state licensed)
- Hubby is working on his two certifications too, he's done all the course work but needs to prepare for exams
- World Cup 2014 (olá Brasil)
- Visit Israel with hubby (I haven't been there since I was 14, DH never)
- Join a synagogue with a real membership like a grown up
- Dye my hair blonde
- Have hardwood floors refinished
- Go glamping, finally go to the Lavender Festival, likewise the Tulip Festival, visit the Washington rainforest
- Buy the impractically small Fiat

Alzora (and everybody feeling discouraged)...hang in there! Hoping for another huge round of berry BFPs soon.
In the meantime, I love blade's bucket list idea. Last fall I convinced DH that a wine tour was a prerequisite for TTC. So I'd say do a crazy amazing wine tour, go boating in case you're too nauseous for that soon, lots of day trips/road trips where you don't know exactly where you're going and when you'll be back, and eat the most delicious and gigantic sushi boat you can find.mom to livvy jozefa 7.10.13
