Need help with the name Shanelle

I asking my nameberry friends to help a sister helping a sister out.
My sister loves the name shannel for her upcoming daughter. She likes that it sounds similar to her own name Shannah. But she has been getting a lot of flack about it. She is wanting to incorporate the first 4 letter of her name =SHAN.
I saw another name that I kinda like today and the name is shanessa. Shannah (my sister) really does like Shanelle and the definition of Shanelle on nameberry is *designer name meets wal mart....*

Is their anyway to incorporate the names together? W/o going "white trash"?

She has a son named Daniel after her S.O.
So for their girl she is hoping for a similar feel

*Hannah (although we both think is way to close to Shannah)
Married to the man of my dreams and trying for our first child

I think Shanelle does have that "white trash" feel about it, though I hate to use the term. However, if she loves it, her family and friends will quickly associate it with the baby and will lose all other associations with the name. Others she may like that don't have the negative vibes:

Brishan (technically a boy's name, but who in the world would know that)

Another suggestion is to give her baby the middle name Shan or Shannah. Good luck!

I kind of agree and I can see how she might be getting some flack.

Here are some SH names that do not mimic a luxury item - Chanel, the designer.

    Shayna - means beautiful

Shaeleen - I knew an artist with this name and she mostly went by Shae, but she loved it.

Sheena - great song written about her!

Sharlene - ready for a comeback in my opinion.

    Charlotte - similar sound.

    Best of luck.

Shoshana - a form of Susannah (which could also work). I think this would be gorgeous!

Would your sister consider other "ann/anna" names? They would still hold a similarity to her own name, but she would have far more choice.
