    Ways to get to Ever

I love the name Ever for a girl. My husband will go for Everly, and call her Ever for short, but won't name her just Ever. I however, don't care for Everly. So I guess I have two questions.

What are other ways to get to Ever -- except Evelyn or Everly? It can end in "ever" as well; it doesn't have to just start with Ever.

Do you think a child named Ever will be made fun of -- "never, ever" and "ever after," etc??

    Thanks in advance!

We're probably naming our daughter Evelyn and will use the nickname Ever. I love it! I think kids will find a way to tease with any name, so wouldn't worry too much about that if you really love it. Here are some suggestions:

    Evaline
    Evalina
    Evian
    Evita
    Evette
    Evangeline
    Evellia
    Evelia
    Evania

    Everild/a
    Beverley
    Gwenevere / Guinevere
    Evren
    Evrona
    Ginevra
    Genevieve
    Heather
    Niamh / Neve
    Evalia
    Eveline

Anything really that you would shorten to Eve/Evie/Eva could work
You could pronounce it more like Eva, emphasis on the EE rather than ever?

Hope I helped at least a tiny little

Why not just go with Ever? It's a perfectly acceptable two-syllable name.

If she wants a more formal name for business purposes when she's older, she can always go by Eve professionally.

Everly sounds like a good compromise to me. You get Ever and he gets a fuller name, it's win-win

    Fox * Shea * Jade * Azure * Eden * Greer * Arden
    Lotus * Tallulah * Noor * Jasper * Blaise * Linden
