I pronounce it cass-ee-uh. For cash-uh I would go with Kasia which is the polish diminutive of Catherine.

I've met two, one from US and one from Brazil, and both said Cass-ee-uh so I always say it that way.

On next top model there was a contestant called Kasia which I think is a great name and a more unique, exotic spelling than Cassia (Kasia was part russian). They pronounced it Cash-sha or Car-sha. I like it better pronounced that way than Cass-see-a.

I always think CASH-ah when I see Cassia, but friends of ours named their baby girl Cassia a few months ago and she goes by CASS-ee-uh. Everyone around here seems to pronounce it CASS-ee-uh instinctively. We have a significant polish population here and I have known a few girls named Kasia, (cash-ah) which is such a pretty spelling/sound (all the polish girls have quite pretty soft sounding names actually)
