    Ways to honor Doris?

Berries, I have a problem. I need a way to honor the name Doris. I love my grandmother, but I can't bestow that name upon a child. I can't use her middle name, which is also mine(May), because of 150 year tradition that I am not willing to break. So, if you could please help me, it would be much appreciated. (:
    ----Note
I'm not pregnant, just looking for a name to give to a future human being(:

    Midori

Or search for names with a similar meaning as Doris or something that includes Doors in it's meaning like I think January or Janus does.

There's Carys, Lois, Maris & Paris, but my favourite way to honour Doris would have to be Iris, or Morris/Morrison on a boy
