    Zeferena

Out of nowhere my husband text me today and asked me if I liked the name Zeferina, apparently a lady with this name is volunteering at his work which is how he learned about it. It's not a name I think I would use despite the fact that
he thinks its pretty but I still wanted to know what others think about it.

Edit:: Corrected spelling, sorry I can't change the thread title!

Is this name the same as Seferina? I have heard of Seferina - which I think is nice. If it is the same and it is only a different spelling, I like it. Don't think I would personally use though.

Yes, it's a variation of Serefina, Zephyr, etc. I don't think I could use it either but he's never really cared about a name so I'm surprised by this.

If he really likes it, maybe you can use as a middle name :-)

Yeah he's really not letting go of this and he's never suggested a name, I told him as a joke we could use Athénaïs as a mn which imo rhymes too much and he said yes Zeferina Athénaïs sounds like a great ballerina name lol

I knew an elderly man named Zefferino! I believe he was Italian and immigrated to Canada after World War II. One of the nicest and sweetest older gentleman I have ever met. I like the name because it reminds me of him.

I think Ivy and Elizabeth go with it OK. I'm not loving the "Z" spelling of this one though.
