Vienna is a big city. It's the capital of Austria. O_o I thought everyone knew capital cities.

I have to agree with renrose. Vienna is a very well known city. It's not the same as using the name of some small, unheard of town.

Apparently the mother of Francis of Paola was called Vienna, and Francis of Paola lived from 1416 – 1507. So if his mam was called that, Vienna must have been in use at least since the 1400s.

I think it's much better than a lot of American place names, like Montana or Georgia. I don't really like London or Paris, either.
Vienna is definitely one of the better ones, along with Geneva and India. It kind of evokes an image of the beautiful snow-covered Alps.

Vienna is actually called Wien in Austria, Vienna is the english version. I think that's a reason I like it too. I think Vienna might be a legit italian name.
