    My Daughter's First Grade Class

I thought it might be interesting to list our kids' class rosters. I'll post back with my 4th grader's and a condensed list from my 7th grader's classes later

    Aaron
    Andrew
    Brook
    Destin
    Faith
    Indiana
    Jacob - NN Jake
    John
    Malachi
    Maria
    Matthew
    Paytan
    Peyton
    Preston
    Raelin
    Rhiley
    Ricky
Scout (The name on her b/c is Catherine, but she only goes by Scout)
    Shawn
    Taylor
    Trenton
    Victoria - NN Tori
    Zachery - NN Zac

Oh! And if you could post roughly where you're from, I think it would be fun to see what trends are happening in other places. I'm in the mid-western US.

My kid is too young for school so I have no names to contribute.

Malachi? That's interesting, you don't often hear that name.

I feel bad for Destin though, at first I misread it as Desitin, like the diaper rash cream.

Interesting list! Like Scarlett, my daughter is too young for school

I immediately thought, "I wonder if she lives in the Midwest?" when I saw Destin on the list. Destin, FL seems to be the #1 vacation destination, at least amongst the people I grew up with. Probably conceived there
Tara, proud mama to a Honey Badger
... and a Badger in Training

    Khyler
    Joe (not Joseph, just Joe)
    Noah
    Logan
    Ian
    Jaden
    Austin

    All boys.
    I'm from South Texas.

I don't have any children yet, but I also live in the mid-western US and I also see those names a lot. Scout is very interesting, though. That's a first.
    Olivia <3

    Good Luck!
