Final 3 Poll: Flora, Fiona & Eilidh

Hopefully no one wants to kill me yet! Would love input on another poll. I love having the feedback here and am constantly revamping my top choices. For anyone who doesn't know, due December 23rd w/ baby girl #2. Have a 2.5 year old daughter Mhairi Elizabeth. Trying to find the PERFECT name for her sister and it is so difficult b/c we love the name Mhairi so much it's been tough to find a match. I hve a list of 10 or so but these are my current top 3. Obviously we love gaelic names and pronunciation is not much of an issue where we live (in Canada but a very scottish community).

    Flora Ceit (prn Kate)
    Fiona Lilidh (prn Lily)
    Elidh Grace (prn Ay-Lee)
Mom to Mhairi Elizabeth (March 19, 2010) & Fiona Lilidh (Dec 21, 2012)

Voted for Fiona Lilidh. I like Flora Ceit but I think that with Flora you need a long, flowing middle and the Ceit spelling of Kate confused me. Eilidh Grace isn't my favourite though I love Eilidh! Fiona Lilidh is really very pretty. I also really like Fiona and Mhairi together.

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback, love hearing what initial reactions are b/c sometimes I get wrapped up in a name and think it sounds one way and don't realize how it actually sounds to the outside world!!

I voted for Eilidh Grace. While it's a bit "AY" heavy, I absolutely love Eilidh and would love seeing it used! I think Mhairi and Eilidh are adorable together.

Second choice would be Fiona Lilidh for me. I love Lilidh, I don't know why I've never heard it before you started posting about it, but I love it! I don't love Fiona (mostly prefer it as a MN, but it's still lovely), but Fiona Lilidh is gorgeous. I would love to see something like Lilidh Madeleine or Lilidh Matilda/Lilidh Gabrielle, too.

Fiona Lilidh, it's so gorgeous, and it's quite different from Mhairi but still seem like they belong together. Eilidh is lovely too.

I voted for Fiona Lilidh, I think it's beautiful Flora is beautiful too, but I don't love it paired with Ceit. And while Eilidh is very pretty, I think it sounds a little matchy with Mhairi.

I think eilidh sounds lovely but may be mocked as eyelid, which is what I initially thought it was based on spelling.

I actually discovered Lilidh on this site by accident. I was going through old forum posts I think looking up the name Isla and a member was named Lilidh, googled it and found it on a scottish name site as well. Thought it was such a pretty spelling but my husband doesn't like it for a first name

I vote Eilidh, but I'm still hanging on for Eilidh Matilda. I forget - does Grace have special significance?

Grace does have significance but it's a stretch!! I desperately have been wanting to honour my grandfather/his family b/c I'm due right around what would've been his 100th bday (he died 20 years ago) but he was the most important person in my whole world. Grace is the name of the church he belonged to (Grace United). Lilidh is connection to his mother was Lillian. Flora was his sister's name. So each name has some tie..but Grace is def the biggest stretch haha
