    I was named after a famous male actor (but I am a female). Luckily it's a name that's more common on females than males, otherwise I would really, really hate it.

    I've wondered about this, because quite a few of my favorite names have ties to my favorite fictional characters. Holmes is the only blatantly obvious name on my list, but still...

    I was always upset that my sister's middle name was Anne after Anne Shirley and I'M the literature person in the family. Ah well.
