I've always liked my name(Soren) which has always been rare in America, so rare that I've never met another, but I worry that recent popularity will damage it because namers will abuse it and ignore its roots. I'm named for the first generation immigrant on one of my lines(during the 1860s) and the connection to my roots which it gives me really means something to me. I'd hate to see it spoiled.
