    How do you say Camellia?

My nan says it like it rhymes with Amelia, but I kind of don't believe her because of the double L.

ETA: Oh, and obviously it's my latest name crush, even though I can't say it.

I pronounce it "kah-MEEL-yuh" but some people pronounce it "kah-MELL-yuh".
    All the best,

I was brought up saying kah-MEEL-yuh in the US. I am pretty sure I've heard kah-meel-ee-uh in Australia. But I don't trust them, they say Dahlia with 3 syllables.

I say Dahlia with 3 syllables. TRUST NO ONE! Dal-yuh is way too much effort. I just say DAH-lee-ah or day-lee-ah.

Maybe my nan was right after all lol. That'll teach me to doubt a gardening fanatic. Do you think Melia works as a nn?
