Unhappy James (jimmy) and Aedan are going to be big brothers in MArch!

    My boy names are:

    Lorcan
    or
    Blaise

    for a girl:
    Cierra (Sierra)
    or
    Charlotte
    or Scarlette

My family disagrees on most of our picks. Any suggestions that are similar with Irish and/or Bibilical origin?

I think Blaise and Scarlett work best with James and Aedan. I wouldn't pick Lorcan because the ending 'can' is matchy with Aedan's 'dan'. For girls I think Scarlett then Charlotte works best with your boys. I think Cierra sounds like a desert and not a name.

For a girl, I think Charlotte is great with your sibset. Scarlett would work too (I prefer this spelling).

A few names that remind me of Charlotte and Scarlett:
    Juliet
    Caroline
    Margot

I don't think that Lorcan and Blaise are a great fit with James and Aedan, but I prefer Lorcan to Blaise since I find it more masculine.

Names that remind me of Lorcan:
    Declan
    Cormac
    Deacon
    Ronan
    Loic
Callum - This would be my pick for you.
Arlo (this reminds me of the -ar sound from Scarlett and Charlotte)
    DD Miriam Elodie
Fave girls: Delphine, Beatrice, Emmanuelle, Josephine, Claire, Vivianne
Fave boys: Felix, Simon, Roman, Etienne, Arthur, Walter

Hmm... I like Blaise. For a girl, I love Charolette. I also love Scarlett but it's probably because I am super obsessed with Scarlett Johansson. Lol. Both are beautiful names though.

    Welcome to Nameberry, Lyssa!

    My recommendation is ...

    Aedan [&] Liam

    [and]

    James [&] Peter

... a sibset comprised of two sets of boys' names equivalent in style and popularity.

Aiden and Liam are the most popular Celtic (Irish) names in the United States at No. 9 and No. 15, respectively (2011 stats).

James and Peter are Biblical "core classic" names in the United States. What is meant by "core classic" is the most popular of the most popular classic names.
