I know Avaline is a real name, but I think it's pronounced av-uh-leen. Am I wrong? We've come up with Avalinn (av-uh-lin)

I second Rosamund, because we are naming our daughter Rosamund when she arrives in December.
    Also:
    Rosemonde (RHAZZ-mund)
    Cordelle or Cordelie
Astrid (I think this goes especially well with Hazel)
    Dillys

I think you should probably talk your husband out of a made up name. I bear one, though I think it is pretty-sounding, It is mostly a burden. I had to shorten it to Ana for work, because I got sick of having a 10 minute converstion about how to spell it, how to pronounce it and where it came from with every new client.
(It's pronounced Anna Leah, most people get it wrong, sometimes spectaularly wrong, the worst is ' Anally')
