I love Arabella, personally.
Erm, some -a names I love:
Gracja (Polish form of Grace, said GRAHS-yah)
Lola (prefer this as a nn, though)
Luella/Luna/Lucia/Luciana (and sort of Lucinda)
Sophia/Sofia (although I think I might prefer Sophie right now)
Tessa (although I prefer just Tess)
Zuzanna (athough I think most will prefer Susannah)
I think it depends--I don't like the -ie/-y endings so much, but I do tend to prefer the non-"A" endings. Like Tess to Tessa and Isabelle to Isabella and Arianne to Ariana and Charlotte/Caroline to Carlotta/Carolina and Violet to Violetta, etc. I chalk it up to my love of French culture. Then again, I prefer Arabella to Arabelle and Sylvia to Sylvie, but I prefer Annabelle and Isabelle to Annabella and Isabella, I guess it just depends on the name. I think I could probably go about half and half.

Thinking about Rhys Absalom and Sebastian Harbor Amias and Anneliese "Annie/Liesey" (if only I could find a combo!) and Lucia Charlotte today.
I've recently started a story--join me! havengermany.blogspot.com
