Unhappy Help me! I hate all my boys names!

I am expecting a baby in February and I have been making lists and narrowing down choices and was feeling pretty good about it. But the other day I had a dream that the baby was born now and I hadn't picked a name (this isn't actually a big deal, almost all of my baby dreams revolve around baby not having a name) but I got to thinking, "Which name would I pick if I had to name baby today?" and when I went through my lists I felt pretty good still about my girl choices but NONE of my boy choices felt right. Its not that I don't LIKE the names, its more like they just don't seem to fit. I hate to throw the whole thing away and just start over, so I'm really looking for some help/suggestions!

    Criteria:
Our last name starts with a K and is one syllable. It is also quite abrupt sounding, so I would prefer to not have any 1 syllable names or names that are really K sound heavy. A name that starts with a K sound is ok, but when it's at the middle or the end of a name I find it clashes with our last name.

My daughter's name is Ainslea Elenore (Elenore is for my grandmother), so a name that goes well with that would be great.

I'm not a fan of "classic" names like Robert or James etc, just not my style.

    Names currently on our list:

    Rowan
    Silas
    Asher
    Titus
    Ezra
    August
    Ellis

Also, my husband's middle name is Andrew, and I think it would be great to use as a middle name, but it isn't a must have, I'd much rather have a first name I love.

Please help me berries! I don't know what to do!

    Thanks for your help.

Congratulations on your baby! Are you finding out the gender?

I think a liquid, vowel-rich, 2-syllable name will work best with last name "Kurt." Focus on finding something similar to Ainslea. All your choices are very nice; here are some suggestions in a similar style:

    Brody
    Finlay
    Callum
    Ian
    Liam
    Niall (pr. Nile)
    Owen
    Aaron
    Elijah
    Josiah
    Tobias
    Julian
    Milo
    Everett
    Emory
    Quincy
    Landon

If you want to pair with Andrew, then a longer first name will be best (for 3-2-1 syllabic flow):

    Donovan
    Adrian
    Gabriel
    Gideon
    Benjamin
    Cassius
    Dennison
    Elliott
    Fabian
    Harrison
    Isaiah
    Lionel
    Malachi
    Matthias
    Montgomery
    Nicholson
    Tennyson
    Zachary
    Blade, MD

    XY: AR
    XX: CVN

I have a thing for the name Ezra lately, so that gets my vote! Maybe Ezra Drew since Ezra Andrew doesn't have best flow?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

We are not finding out the gender. It would be much easier to choose a name if we did, but we found out the gender last time, with our daughter, and we thought we would try it the other way this time around.

    My thoughts on your suggestions:

Brody - not bad, but I don't love it.
    Finlay - same.
    Callum - too... Scottish? Irish?
Ian - this doesn't really sound good with LN
Liam - too popular. It's actually number 1 where I live.
Niall (pr. Nile) - too English?
Owen - Sounds like Rowan... I like it.
Aaron - known too many of these.
    Elijah - I like this.
Josiah - I like this too, but a friend has a little boy named Josiah.
Tobias - Again I like but something isn't quite right?
Julian - Kinda really like this one, but I have a feeling husband will not.
    Milo - cute
    Everett - I like it.
    Emory - is this girly?
Quincy - my mom suggested this and my husband made a "yuck" face...
    Landon - its ok.

I don't really like the three syllable ones as much. I don't know what it is, just none of them really appealed to me. (except Adrian, which I love, BUT my SIL is Adrienne and that would be too awkward.)

Thanks again for your help. I'll take any other suggestions or possible combos on the names that I have (that might help me love them more)

Husband's favourites are Asher and Titus

I kinda like the way Ainslea and Ezra sound together. Drew is a good idea for a middle name, I hadn't thought of that, but do you think it sounds ok with a 1 syllable last name?

Elias - have a friend who just had a baby named this. it's a cool name though.

Leander - maybe, I kinda like it.

    Arlo - I like this!

    Ari - too short maybe?

Graham - this sounds old to me.

Asa - again, maybe too short.

Eamon - I don't really like this, but can't put my finger on why, sorry.

    Ian - nope.

    Seth - don't like the 1 syllable.

    Maxim - don't like the X

    Dawson - not so much...

    Sloan - 1 syllable

    Jonah - Maybe.

    Jonas - maybe...
