Number Three Is On His Way! Help Name Him!

Hi Berries, this is my first time posting on Nameberry, though I used this site to help pick a name out during my last pregnancy. Our first two children, both girls, were easy to name. Our first daughter's name, Anya Evelina, was easy to pick. We got her first name from my mom, Anna, and DH's mom, Eve. Our second daughter, Sasha Natalie, was a bit harder to name, but we ended up going with Sasha because we loved the name, and Natalie after a close family friend, Nathan. This time around, baby number 3, is proving to be a challenge. We were lucky that we ended up having two girls, because in our first two pregnancies we couldn't ever decide on a boy's name we liked. This time around-surprise! We just found out that we're having a boy! Though we're excited, we just can't decide on names!

We're looking for something familiar, but not top 50. The one name we sort of like is Zachary, but we just aren't sure about it. We don't really think it fits in with Anya and Sasha. We don't normally like word names, though we did LOVE the name Winter for a while before we realized that it sounded bad with our last name, which sounds very similar to "Lawyer". What can you suggest for us?

Anya and Sasha (LOVE this pairing!) have an Eastern European sound to them that Zachary, which is nice, doesn't share. I would first suggest looking at names with a similar background...

    Alexei (or Alexander)
    Damian
    Dimitri
Edmon (or Edmond or Edmund...nn Ned)
    Efrem (or Ephraim)
    Eriks (or Eric)
Grigor (or Gregor or maybe Gregory)
Ilias (love this! Could spell as Elias, too. I think Eli would be nice as well!)
    Ivan
    Jeramy (or Jeremy)
    Karlin
    Lev
Maxim (love this and nn Max!)
    Simeon
    Vasili
    Viktor (or Victor)

Otherwise, I would go for a shorter name that isn't too trendy or traditional classic, which might look a little clashy... Winter would be cool, but I understand the hesitation. To go with Anya and Sasha, I'd probably pick something with a slightly softer sound. Some of these might be a little too far out there, but what about...
    Brenton or Benton
    Basil
    Calvin or Kelvin
    Corin
    Caspar (or Casper or Kasper)
    Dominic
    Derek
    Fabian
    Frost
    Grant
    Gray
    Heath
    Jude
    Jasper
    Leo (love this)
    March
    Mattias or Matteo
    Milo
    Marius
    Nolan
    Nicholas/Nicolas (nn Nico, Cole, Nick...)
    North
    Orin
    Perry
    Paul
    Robin or Robert
    Reed
    Tomas or Thomas
    Theo
    Timothy
    Vincent
    Warren

    Congratulations!

I agree with above regarding the Russian/eastern european names though I don't think Winter is a good fit. It also helps that Vasiliy is my favourite boys name

In my opinion, Alek Zachary or Leo Zachary would fit nicely
