Maxine would be much better. I had a guy friend named Maxwell growing up, and it is one of my favorite boy names. (I love Chase on a girl, but I doubt I'd ever use it, btw.)
Jordan (Love this on a girl)
Reagan (Rea is a cute nickname)
I think those are my favorites. From yours, love Avery and Fallon, but Fallen jokes will abound, but I dislike the others.~lucy reine~~ celestine eira ~ mary simona ~ elizabeth echo "ellie" ~ eleanor heaven "lena" ~ vivienne ailsa ~ felicity emma "fay" ~ catherine aiko "rin" ~ elsa verity ~~ jasper red ~ evander lachlan 'evan'~ kai nicholas ~ ezra link ~ avery thomas ~ michael satoshi "mischa" ~ finn jeremias ~ ezekiel hayden ~ alexander rowan "sacha" ~

As for the pet association, if the pet is no longer around, I don't think it's such a big issue. I'm considering the name Noah and once had a cat with that name.Mom to Luke Edwin and Virginia Noemi

I really like Alex for a girl. Not Alexandra, Alexis, or Alexandria. Just Alex.
I think Henry would sound really cute on a girl with the right nickname but it may be too out there.
Charlie and Drew are probably my favorite crossovers.
I am not too fond of Maxwell but you could use Maxine or just Max. I don't think of the Simpson baby but I do not really watch TV or follow celebrity life. I like your style! Although some of the berries on here get a little grumpy and uptight about boys names crossing over to the girl's side, so be careful.
